This week in Collections we…
Worked on some frames.
Took a picture of a picture of a picture… and went back in time.
Got some GREAT news (details in a future post!)
Cataloged some books (blog, meet our Collections intern, Rebecca. She is always cheerful, always thorough, and in every way THE BEST.)
Assembled more acid-free boxes (Colin is a bit slower at this than the average bear — his words).
Eavesdropped on Megan and Melissa while they made important decisions.
Marveled over the speed and efficiency of our Archives intern, Sara. Seriously, you guys, she is the Michael Phelps of archives (does that make sense? What I’m trying to say is that she is FAST and probably deserves some sort of medal).
Took a moment to admire the subtle interplay of light and shadow in the work of George Wharton Edwards.
And, last but not least, paused to question Colin’s taste in undershirts.
